Campus sharing, coming soon
Less buying.
More borrowing.
The things you need might already belong to a friend. ShareShelf is building a simpler way to lend, borrow, and share what you save—starting with one campus.
A small launch. Friends first. Useful things, shared locally.
Small by design.
Thoughtful from day one.
- Friends-only shelves to start
- Low-value items first
- Stocked communities before opening
The sharing loop
One shelf. A lot of possibilities.
Tools for a quick fix. A speaker for the evening. Camping gear for a weekend away.
Your first shelf
you would happily lend.
Example shelf ideas—not live listings.
- 01
List what you can lend
Snap a photo and add your items to a shelf. Invite friends to bring a few useful things of their own.
- 02
Borrow, then bring it back
Find something nearby and arrange the handoff with your friend. Agree on when it comes back before it leaves.
- 03
Share the savings
The planned savings card gives both of you a simple way to share the borrow—and invite the next friend into the loop.
The first 30 days
One campus.
Build it together.
We’re preparing a pilot with three residential communities. The goal is to build useful shelves before opening borrowing—not launch everywhere with nothing to borrow.
Campus and launch dates are not announced yet. Insurance and a possible Pro tier are still being explored; coverage is not currently offered.
Pilot targets, not results
Learn from real handoffs. Improve what gets in the way. Expand only when the sharing loop works.
Make room for sharing
Your first shelf is already at home.
Pick five low-value things you’re happy to lend. Think of a friend who could use them. That’s where it starts.
